Sarinah Masukor

Sarinah has worked as a television writer since 2019 and, for a decade before that, wrote about film and contemporary art for the ABC and other biggish outlets. Right now, she’s adapting Nicola Moriarty’s bestselling novel, The Fifth Letter, for Jungle Entertainment. She co-wrote the finale of Good Cop Bad Cop (STAN/ROKU/CW) and wrote an episode of the original comedy series Population 11 (STAN). She’s also written episodes of the award winning children’s shows 100% Wolf (ABC) and MaveriX (ABC). 

In 2021 she received Enterprise People funding from Screen Australia and spent two years working as an in house writer at Jungle Entertainment. She also received funding to attend the Union Docs documentary lab in New York in 2019.

She directed the short documentary Polychromatic for Diversity Arts Australia, which screened as part of the Sydney Opera House’s All About Women festival and was Highly Recommended at ReelOzInd.

Freyja Benjamin

Freyja recently made her feature film debut starring in the independent feature Everything In Between as Liz, a young woman who helps a suicidal teenager find meaning.

She has appeared in several short films which have won awards internationally including Big Bad World in which she performed alongside Netflix/TBS star Geraldine Viswanathan. She led in the short film Clarity directed by Chris Sebastian Joys, which was selected to screen at the 51st annual BFI's in London and was presented by Helen Mirren.

Freyja has had guest roles on Stan Original Tv Series The Commons as well as Channel Nine's Bite Club as Justine Harris.
